| The fringe projection technique is used in our 3D-Cam. This method is a triangulation technique and typically consists of a camera and a (digital) fringe projector. With the projector sinusoidal modulated fringes are projected onto an object. The triangulation angle is between the optical axis of camera and projector. The fringes are bended, based on the 3D shape of the object and recorded with the camera. The image analysis calculates a x, y and z coordinate of the object's surface for every image pixel. |
